Known for his dynamic approach to conducting and choral rehearsal techniques, Robert Ingari is frequently in demand as a clinician and festival jury member. As a teacher of choral conducting he focuses on giving the student conductor the necessary tools to accurately identify and correct technical as well as musical problems. Much of his work is centered on fine-tuning the conductor's capacity to transform his or her ideas into a clear and unencumbered gesture allowing for a free and expressive choral tone. Reconnu pour le dynamisme de sa technique de direction et de répétition des chœurs, Robert Ingari est souvent invité comme conférencier et membre de jury. Dans son enseignement, il cherche à inculquer à l'étudiant en direction chorale les outils qui lui permettront de déceler et de corriger les problèmes techniques et musicaux. Son travail consiste principalement à aider l'aspirant chef à traduire ses idées en gestes simples et clairs pour obtenir du chœur un son libre et expressif.
